  1. Good luck to all participants – thanks for the opportunity to win an AED for my company.

  2. Sounds like a fun contest. Our school could really use another AED so I hope I win.

  3. Any contest to win a free AED is a contest I must be in!!!

  4. Im glad to see the company putting forth a good effort to raise awareness about sudden cardiac arrest by giving away AED Trainers and ultimatly a true AED!!

  5. It would be great to win the AED definetly a must have machine and myself going to become an EMT in the next few months would love to one for home!

  6. the application of an AED paired with good CPR training is the best way for a layperson to reverse the condition of a sudden cardiac arrest patient, great contest with a great cause of making AEDs more available.

  7. This contest is cool. To beable to get a free AED because I would use it if I have a person that is in cardiac arrest and I am off the job and there is not one around

  8. I would love to win this amazing contest. Since my wife and I both suffer from heart realted illnesses winning this Automatic External Defibrillator or AED would be a real Godsend for both of us. We could potential save each other lives or someone else in the neighborhod or even a stranger while traveling. Thank you American Med Supply for coming up with such a wonderful contest as this.

  9. I have tried every combination to enter this contest. However, I keep getting an error to enter name and e-mail address which I do. I just keep getting the same errpr message and no link. I have also checked my e-mail address and nothing. It only accepts my comments nothing else. Can you please look into this.

  10. Thanks Allyn, I just used another browser but still have a question. I am not showing up as liking you on my facebook account. Do I need to allow Contest Burner (I think that was the name) access to my facebook account to be able to LIKE your FB page and enter the contest? Also if you would be so kind as to remove the above message that contains my e-mail address. thanks, Jay

  11. Thank you Allyn for all your help in walking me through the contest sign-up process. It’s easy once you know how LOL. The timing of this contest is bit irie as I just came back from my Cardiologist office with the news I need to have a heart catheterization and most likely a stent or two or three… The procedure is set for this coming up Monday
April 4th. Because I went into Kidney Failure a couple of months ago I will need to be admitted on Sunday and will stay untill at least The day after (Wed). Now more than ever I truly hope that we win the Automatic External Defibrillator or AED in October. We priced them when they were first introduced to the general public on a mass scale. Unfortunately we do not have the funds available to us and our insurance will not cover the AED. I have seen many contest in my 50 years of living and I have NEVER seen a contest that actually offered a life-saving device. God Bless you Allyn and the entire staff of American Med Supply for the work that you do and the generosity you have displayed.

  12. This is a great idea for a contest. For one i want to wishe ev,eryone good luck. Alittle about me: i’ve been in the medical field for over 15 years now, from the state of HI, to up and down the east coast. Since the begaining i have become an emt-B, rescue tech, state rescue diver, firefighter 2, and now in law enforcment officer. I love serving my community, my contry(10yrs u.s.army). and in short i love what i do. saving lives one call at a time. Yall have fun, be safe, n enjoy.

  13. i just entered the contest i think its a wonderful idea for anyone in the emt or medical /fire fighter field to get involved with great idea!

  14. I thank you for the this idea you can help the small commity .Are staion and equimemt is so old It,s hard to get help grant,s Thank you again Joiner fire department of AR.

  15. Hello, Just thought I would give an update. I spent a few days in the hospital. I went in on Sunday April 3rd and was released on Tuesday. April 5th after a heart catheterization. No need for a stent. However, now they are thinking its something electrical so winning this contest would be really GREAT!!! I will be posting a video or two on youTube real soon.

  16. I should tell the other firefighter EMT EMS they should join this americanmedsupply

  17. Hello,
Please consider this contest for it may help you be prepared for the unexpected. You never know when disaster may strike, or when you may need first aid items. And who know, maybe you will win a gift card to somewhere.

  18. This is the most helpful tool… Along with good solid trained CPR the invention of the AED has saved countless lives… The fact that they’re simply giving one away for free is incredible!!! So many people can benefit from the availability of training and AEDs……… Thank God for such wonderfully caring people!

  19. As I posted on facebook. I think the AED should be in every vehicle on the road and every driver should be certified in CPR and AED use prior to their drivers test. I stopped at a wreck as I was moving to Florence SC and while CPR was being done by a nurse who stopped I was trying to find an AED asking the police and EMS supervisors as they arrived. no one had an AED or even a BVM until the fire engine arrived. These should be basic equipment on all emergency vehicles and carried by anyone trained to use them in their personal vehicle. It’s not hard to learn CPR and the AED tells you what to do. It’s easy.

  20. I really like the idea for this giveaway! Personally I hope to win the defibrillator so I can take it with me on Boy Scout trips, since we are often in remote areas where a life-saving shock can be quite a ways away. Also I think it would be a good idea in the suburbs for someone in the community organization to have one, so life-saving help is only a couple doors down rather than 10 or more minutes away! (obviously residents should still call 911 first, and give CPR, then send a runner)
